Payout Resetting

Payout Resetting works in combination with Bonus Level Tiering. If you do not use Payout Resetting, Affiliates will receive the tier level reward, even if their transaction totals drop below the current break amount. The option is Disabled by default.

When you set Payout Resetting to Enabled, affiliates will start to qualify for each bonus level tier at the first day of every month. As the month progresses, their transaction totals might qualify them to be moved to the next bonus level tier. When they move to the next bonus level tier, they are paid according to that bonus tier's payouts for all new transactions.  When they reach the next higher tier, the increased bonus level payout percentage is not retroactive for any prior transactions. On the first day of the following month the process starts over and the affiliate's bonus level tier is reset to zero.

NOTE: when Payout Resetting is enabled, bonus totals on the Transaction Report are calculated based on the previous month.

When you set Payout Resetting to Disabled, affiliates have to qualify for each bonus level tier only once. When their transaction totals qualify them, they will be moved to the next bonus level tier. The transaction totals are calculated from the date the affiliate signed up for the program.  When they reach the next higher tier, the increased bonus level payout percentage is not retroactive for any prior transactions. Once affiliates qualify and move up to a higher bonus level tier, they will never move back down a tier.
