The Payment Options area allows you to setup how referrals from recurring billing (trial or initial amount) are handled and whether to pay for rebills. You may have different payment options for a subscription that start as a trial or recurring. When a subscription begins, it can be optionally set as a trial. The trial can optionally convert to recurring. This option is disabled by default.

You can pay out for trial and recurring subscriptions. You can also set up the Rebill Options for each subscription.

• Trial Subscriptions - In recurring billing, you may have a tryout period, which acts as an introductory offer. The subscription is rebilled after the tryout period.

• Recurring Subscriptions - An initial sale that is set to rebill after a specified length of time.

Select the information shown below as required:

• Pay for Trial - Sets up how to payout for the trial. Select Yes to pay the Affiliate for the trial referral. Select No to disallow payout.  Tip: When setting up a trial subscription, ensure that the initial price is higher or lower than the recurring price.

• Pay for Initial Sale - Sets up how to payout for the initial amount. Select Yes to pay the Affiliate for an initial amount referral. Select No to disallow payout. In recurring billing, the initial amount is the first billing before the subscription rebills. Tip: When setting up an initial sale, ensure that the initial price is the same as the recurring price.

• Stop Paying Rebills - Sets whether or not the payments should be continued after a specified number of times. Select Yes to display the Stop After Rebill Number Text Box, which allows you to enter a number where you want to stop the rebill payments. Select No to allow the rebill to payout continually.

• Stop After Rebill Number - Sets the amount of times to payout rebills to Affiliates after the start of a subscription. For example, to stop after rebilling once for a trial subscription, set the Stop After Rebill Number to "1".

After you have set up the Payment options, click Submit on the bottom of the page to save the changes.
