Rebill - A recurring sale that has been rebilled at least one time. CCBill will keep rebilling the subscriber until the account is cancelled, or the card is declined, etc.
Recurring Billing - An initial sale that is set to rebill after a specified length of time. This rebills the subscription on an iterative basis. This may include an initial price and initial period. The period of the subscription is in 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 day increments.
Initial Sale - An initial sale is where the initial and recurring price are identical, e.g.,
Initial Price: $24.95 Recurring Price $24.95
Trial - In recurring billing, you may have a tryout period, which acts as an introductory offer. The subscription is rebilled after the tryout period. A trial is a subscription setup where the initial and recurring price differ, e.g.,
Initial Price: $24.95 Recurring Price $19.95 or
Initial Price: $9.95 Recurring Price $19.95.
