Basic

The Subaccount Basic Info page permits the setup of main information for the subaccount such as merchandise explanation, correspondence email, and web locations.

The TEST MODE feature has been phased-out of System5 and replaced by the new Transaction Test Settings feature found under the Account Maintenance Tab, in the TOOLS area. Refer to the Account Maintenance documentation for more information about Transaction Test Settings.

To Set Up Basic Subaccount Information

  1. Home URL The Internet address or base web location of the site (e.g., http://www.mycompany.com). To change the home URL, go to the Account Change Forms area located at http://businesscenter.ccbill.com. Fill out the appropriate form and fax it to CCBill. For assistance, please send an email to client@ccbill.com.

  2. Type the Site Name The name of the website to be displayed on the Subscription Details page. Refer to the Subscription Details area near the end of the Reports Section documentation for more information.

  3. Type the Product Description A brief description of the product or membership being sold on your subaccount website.

  4. Type the Client Contact Email The email address where correspondence from CCBill will be sent.

  1. Type the Approval URL CCBill will link the subscriber to this web location after a successful signup. This is typically the members area or a purchase receipt. An Approval URL must be specified if the subaccount will be processing transactions through CCBill.

  2. Type the Denial URL The web location of the page used when a consumer's purchase is declined. Typically this is an alternate billing method such as a dialer or secondary credit card processor, which allows the consumer a different way to pay for their membership. CCBill will automatically redirect consumers to this URL address after an unsuccessful signup.

  3. Choose Instant, None, 3, 5, or 7 for Denial Redirect Time. This is the amount of time to wait before redirecting to the denial page.

  4. Select YES or NO for Require ACH ValidationWhen consumers enter their Routing and Check Account numbers on the Check Signup Form , they will be required to re-enter them on a Confirmation page . This is an optional field. Contact client@ccbill.com to have this option activated. Consumers will not be able to view their account information on the Check Signup Form after submitting it. If they click the Browser Back button when the Confirmation page is displayed, the signup will be blocked for 24 hours.

  5. Type the Opt Out URL The web location of the page to send consumers when they click the Cancel Transaction button on the Confirmation page. Only enter information in the Opt Out URL field if you are planning to use the Confirmation page with Cancel Transaction enabled on the page. For new subaccounts, the Opt Out URL feature is disabled by default. Please send an email to client@ccbill.com for assistance or activation.After CCBill has activated the Confirmation options, go to the Form Admin area of the Tools section and click Layout in the Update Form area to enable the Opt Out feature. Refer to the Form Admin Section documentation for more information.

  6. Type the Tour URL The web location of the tour or preview area. This is the location to send consumers after they click a banner or ad button, ideally the first page of the tour. Many times this URL is the same as the Home URL. A Tour URL must be entered if promotional sales for the subaccount are going to be setup. Refer to topic Form Admin > Update Form > Promotional Sales for more information about setting up Promotional Sales.
