Click the Cancel Subscription link on the Subscription Details page to display the Cancel screen, which allows you to cancel and/or discount the consumer's subscription. Cancel discounts are setup in the Promotional Prices area of the Pricing Admin.
If there is a no subscription discount setup, then the Cancel page will initially open.
If there is a subscription discount setup, the Cancellation Discount page will open.
Choose one of the following from the Source drop-down menu:
Phone - Consumer called to cancel the subscription.
Email - Consumer sent an email to cancel the subscription.
To reinstate the subscription, click the Discount Subscription button and accept the information displayed on the Discount page.
To end the subscription, click the Cancel Subscription button; the Cancel Subscription page will be displayed.
On the Cancel Subscription page, choose the Source of the Cancellation, i.e., Phone or Email from the Source drop-down menu.
Select a reason for the cancellation from the Cancel Reason drop-down menu.
If you select Password Trader as the cancel reason, additional fields will be displayed. Enter a cancel reason in the Provide explanation field; explain why is the subscription is ending for password trading.
Click Finish Cancellation to submit the cancellation to CCBill's system.
Click Don't Cancel to return to the previous screen and discard all changes.
Subscription cancellation reasons:
Satisfied - A satisfied subscriber.
Income - Subscriber has income issues.
Minor - A minor used the card.
Spouse - Subscriber's spouse called in about the charge.
Unsatisfied - Subscriber is not satisfied with the content.
Trial - Subscriber only interested in trial subscription.
Terms - Subscriber did not read the terms and conditions.
Password - There were password problems.
Speed - Subscriber unable to load the content fast enough.
Other - Other reason.
PasswordTrader - Do not re-add the username to the password file.
